Giprosintez participates in the international symposium for AVEVA software application.

On October 6 - 8, 2008 Paris Pullman hotel has accommodated the symposium dedicated to AVEVA software application. The event has been attended by international companies from the US, Korea, Iran, Japan and most of European countries: Hyundai Engineering, AREVA, Samsung Heavy Industries, AMEC, TECHNIP. Russian participants have been presented by Atomenergoprom, UralTEP, Giprosintez.

Introductory speech has been made by AVEVA president Richard Olden. Representative of French company AREVA has made a speech on "Material Management for a Nuclear large Power Plant Project (From engineering requirement to on-site warehouse delivery)". Report on "AMEC solutions for Global Project Execution" has been introduced by Colin K Fairweather, Engineering Systems Manager of AMEC. The audience has welcomed the speech of Fyodor Sokolov on "Technology implementation, configuration and collaboration opportunities – a Giprosintez' experience". Organizers and participants expressed a wish to see guests from Russia during the next symposium.
