Industrial Product Design, Process Preparation and Lifecycle Control Systems (CAD/CAM/PDM – 2008), International Conference.

   On October 21, -23 Moscow Institute of Management Problems by Trapeznikov has accommodated the international conference "Industrial Product Design, Process Preparation and Lifecycle Control Systems (CAD/CAM/PDM – 2008)", organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, supported by the International Academy of Information. Main themes of the conference were: integrated industrial systems and process controls, PDM-systems, mechanical engineering, construction and radio electronics design.
   Plenary session of the conference has been opened by Fyodor Sokolov, Giprosintez' general director, speaking on: Giprosintez Experience on Implementation and Adaptation of 3D Design Technologies. The conference included many interesting speeches, such as "3D visualization of PCNC managing programs. Look-and-feel, development principles" given by Professor G. Martynov, Doctor of Engineering, holder of a chair in STANKIN.
