Taiwan Polysilicon to become first volume producer of solar-grade polysilicon
Taiwan Polysilicon will begin installing production equipment for solar-grade poly-Si with an initial annual capacity of 10000 metric tons and will become Taiwan's first poly-Si maker when it starts volume production in the first quarter of 2010, according to the company.
Taiwan Polysilicon said it expects to turn out 3000 metric tons of poly-Si in 2010, and plans to expand its annual production capacity by 10000 metric tons.
