- 1. Improved TCS, chloroacetic acid and sodium chloride of chloroacetic acid production

3. 3D Design
Starting from 2003 the Institute uses AutoPLANT (based on AutoCAD 2002) for 3D design of piping systems. In 2004 Mechanical and Process department 1, Sanitary Engineering department, Architectural and Construction department and Electrical department using ADT 2004 and ABS 2004 software designed Shchuch'ye CWDF Building 1И and Saratovorgsintez Building 650. Today we are trained in PDMS system and ready to create 3D models of complex production facilities.
4. Field Supervision
Giprosintez renders field supervision for the facilities under construction, i.e.:
– spot check construction and installation works compliance with working documentation and requirements of construction rules and standards;
– monitor the quality and observance of work practice;
– solve issues involving working documentation revisions;
– participate in "concealed works" inspection;
– participate in key structures acceptance during construction.
5. Engineering Support
Giprosintez provides engineering support during the construction:
– obtain construction permits;
– prepare bid documents and arrange bids for contractors;
– render engineering supervision over construction and installation;
– prepare start-up and operating documents;
– render technical assistance in plant development.
6. Systemization
Giprosintez carries on all types of systemization, including:
– equipment individual tests;
– APCS and information control loops adjustment;
– complex tests with inert and working media;
– Debottlenecking;
– brining out to design capacity.
7. Equipment Selection
– check the issued designs to meet the requirements towards the use of modern, presently-produced equipment having compliance certificates and Rostekhnadzor permit for application at hazardous production facilities;
– manage database of presently-produced equipment, instruments and materials, their costs, pertaining certificates of compliance and Rostekhnadzor permits;
– obtain technical documents (data sheets, installation and operating manuals, outline and installation drawings) and range of equipment suppliers;
– render technical assistance to purchase equipment for chemical weapons destruction facilities.
